Dan Cohen: DEVELOPMENT PARTNER

The Doer.

Dan Cohen is the Development Partner for D4 Urban and is responsible for the pre-development coordination, planning approvals, design, construction, and delivery of D4’s active projects. Recent completed projects include the award-winning Dakota Outfall Project, the LEED Platinum Denizen multifamily community, and the redevelopment of the former RTD Bus Barn site. Mr. Cohen is currently coordinating entitlement, development activity, and construction efforts for D4’s Broadway Park development.

Prior to being employed at D4, Mr. Cohen was responsible for the development activities within a 3,600 acre Planned Unit Development. His primary focus was workforce housing development for the energy sector which included both single family and multifamily planning and development in Colorado and North Dakota. Having now shifted focus to infill projects over the last decade with D4, he has discovered his passion for complex urban developments oriented around transit.

Mr. Cohen was born and raised in Denver and is a proud graduate of the University of Wisconsin. He has completed service in the United States Peace Corps, is a member of the Urban Land Institute, is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Colorado, and currently serves as President of the Broadway Park North and South Metropolitan Districts and as a Board Director of the Emily Griffith Foundation.
